We are a very lively venue that can boast such acts in our first year of opening as Alex Skolnick from Testament fame and Shawn James. The “hammer” as the locals affectionately call us has hosted many bands from around the world and actively support the local metal scene. We are a customer centred venue that throws regular party nights for all the metal heads needs. The venue is expanding and opening a brand new live music stage in the upstairs bar. This new space will host the m2tm heats, semi finals and the final. Bloodstock and the m2tm are big dates in our customer calendars and we all look forward to the festival and the m2tm shows. M2tm at the hammer & the anvil is massive for the live heavy metal scene in Birmingham as it brings the genre we all love back into the heart of where it all began.
