Their most famous song is hit ballad "Love hurts" (1974), and it was a two-front attack that made Scotsmen Nazareth one of the biggest hard rock bands of the 70s. Firstly, hit singles like "Broken down angel" "This flight tonight" and the aforementioned "Love hurts". Secondly, heavy, groove-laden, rocking albums like "Razamanaz" (1973), "Loud 'n' proud" (1973) and "Hair of the dog" (1975). One defining characteristic for the band was the raspy vocals of Dan McCafferty (Axl Rose's role model), who had to leave the band for health reasons in 2013 - after 44 years and 23 studio albums. However, Nazareth persisted as always, and this will be the first time that the SRF crowd gets to experience the band with Carl Sentance (ex-Krokus) at the microphon
