FORMED ONLY TWO YEARS AGO, CELLAR DARLING IS ACTUALLY COMPOSED OF DISSIDENT MUSICIANS FROM THE HELVETIC CIRCLE OF ELUVEITIE.

Taking their unique folkloric ingredients, the Swiss band fronted by the charismatic Anna Murphy, scatters them on a path more focused on a sinewy alternative rock lined with echoes reminiscent of Evanescence and Within Temptation. Sometimes cinematic in its sophisticated Celtic ambiences, other times honestly rebellious, “This Is The Sound”, the trio’s first album, was released in June 2017, carried by convincing singles such as “Avalanche”, “Challenge” or the even darker “Black Moon”.
