WACKEN METAL BATTLE USA Announce 2018 Band Submissions

4 Band Links:   For over a decade, independent metal bands have been showing off their immense talents at the world's largest outdoor metal festival, Wacken Open Air. For the second year, Wacken Metal Battle USA is returning to the U.S. and will be hosting qualifying rounds in select cities across the country. The national champion of each battle will perform at the 2018 festival which is taking place August 2nd to 4th in Wacken, Germany.

The current American cities that are confirmed include Philadelphia, New York City, Los Angeles and San Diego. There will be more to be announced soon.

Last year's battle saw the best bands from the Philadelphia and Boston areas, including Corpse Hoarder, Goblet, Power Theory, and Upheaval perform in the national final. Philly's Corpse Hoarder ended up prevailing and performed a furiously intense set at this past year's Wacken Open Air.
